I know I'm not terribly active here, but it seemed right to put this news on this particular page.
My horse, Tanzen, was put peacefully to sleep at the age of 31 on September the 28th of this year. He was missing teeth, couldn't gain weight, and his legs were beginning to lose some function. It was also highly likely, given his symptoms, that he had cancer somewhere in his gastrointestinal system. His last day was warm, sunny, and full of sugar cubes and affection.
He's buried on my parents property (where I live at this time).
